Valora is operated by Mellow Mynk LLC (“Valora,” “we,” or “us”). This policy explains what information Valora handles, why it is needed, and the choices available to you.
Information you choose to provide
Valora may handle health and wellness information you choose to record, including symptoms, moods, sleep, cycle and bleeding details, journal entries, treatments, personal notes, photos, user-reported changes, and milestones. If you create an account, Valora also handles basic account information such as your email address.
Information needed to operate Valora
Valora may process limited technical information needed to authenticate your account, synchronize your history, prevent abuse, operate subscriptions, troubleshoot errors, and secure the service. This can include app version, request status, pseudonymous usage counters, and error information. Error monitoring is configured to exclude health text and identifying request content.
Where information is stored
Your entries are stored on your device. If you sign in, they are also backed up to Google Firebase so your history can synchronize across your devices. Your account data is not made visible to other Valora users.
Generated features
When you deliberately request a generated feature, the information authorized for that request is sent securely to Valora’s model provider to create the response. “What You’ve Been Carrying” can use only the saved words, confirmed tracking context, and time range allowed by its in-app controls. Private or excluded material is not authorized for that request. Generated results and their supporting references may be saved in your Valora history so you can reopen, export, or delete them.
Valora does not use your personal information to train models.
Service providers
Valora uses service providers only as needed to operate the app. These may include Google Firebase for authentication and cloud storage, Anthropic for requested generated responses, ElevenLabs for requested voice playback, Sentry for privacy-scrubbed error monitoring, hosting and function providers, and Stripe for web subscription processing outside Google Play. These providers may process information under their own contractual and legal obligations.
Optional pilot measurement
If you separately opt in, Valora may upload aggregate feature-use counts such as app opens, active days, completed tracking sessions, and use of major features. The pilot measurement is designed not to include symptoms, severity, journal or chat text, generated writing, personal findings, your name, or your email in the developer-facing dashboard. You may decline, stop sharing, and request deletion of uploaded pilot metrics.
What Valora does not do
- Valora does not sell personal or health information.
- Valora does not show third-party advertising.
- Valora does not share health information with advertisers.
- Valora does not use personal information to train models.
Sharing and disclosure
Information is shared with service providers only as needed to provide the functions you request, protect the service, or comply with law. Reports or exports that you download are yours to share or keep private.
Your choices
You can view and edit entries, export a copy of your Valora history, delete individual saved items, delete health data while keeping your login, or permanently delete your account. Deleting the app alone removes only information stored on that device.
Full account deletion removes the Valora login and associated cloud account data and cancels an active web subscription without automatically issuing a refund. Stripe may retain transaction records required for financial or legal purposes. Valora may retain a minimal non-health deletion receipt so delayed billing events cannot recreate a deleted account. Messages you separately send to the developer may also be retained as correspondence.
Read the account-deletion instructions or start a deletion request.
Security
Valora uses access controls, authenticated requests, owner-scoped cloud rules, and reputable service providers to safeguard information. No online system can guarantee absolute security.
Retention
Valora keeps account and health information while your account remains active or as needed to provide the service. You can delete individual information, health history, or the entire account through the controls described above. Limited records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, financial recordkeeping, legal compliance, or enforcement of a deletion request.
Children
Valora is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes meaningfully, the updated date will change and notice will be provided in the app when appropriate.
